ABOUT IAN CALLAHAN

Ian Callahan is a Reno, NV based photographer. A 6th generation Nevadan, he has a love for the Sierra Nevada Mountains and it reflects in his work.  Ian studied photography at both Truckee Meadows Community College and University of Nevada, Reno.  He graduated with a degree in Art and one in Secondary Education.  His experience in the university photography program is what inspired him to become a teacher.  He currently teaches high school in Reno, NV and pursues photography in multiple facets in his down time. "Nature and art are similar in that they reflect back what you bring to them.  It is my aim to capture this essence with photography" - Ian Callahan
